Here it is:

checking for t_open() in -lnsl... no
checking for socket() in -lsocket... no
checking for dlopen() in -ldl... yes
checking for log() in -lm... yes
checking for tcl.h... yes
checking for tk.h... no

The odd thing is that tcl.h and tk.h are in the same directory. So how
it found one and not the other I'll never know. However I hacked the two
have_header() calls out of extconf.rb to force it to build a Makefile,
which it did but when I run it I get a compile error:

X11/Xlib.h: No such file or directory

Which is true (although I was sure that I had installed everything).

Does have_header() look at the dependencies within a header file and
thus the reason it claimed tk.h was not found was that X11/Xlib.h was
not found? Seems a likely explanation.

A reinstall is in order I think.
