Ok, an example:

I have been painfully trying to create the folling wrapper:

ksh -> expect -> ssh -> remote machines,

Code would look like this:

if remote mach1 . .profile
then
remote mach1 env | grep SOMETHING
else
remote mach1 cp /usr/local/.profile ~
fi

Basically the remote state would be saved because it is having a two way
conversation.

IMHO, the pty functionality should be in a machine-code-library because it is a
little exotic.

As far as OO is concerned,

in perl:

$ftp -> put ( $data_object ) ;

in my imginary OOKSH:

$data -> ftp ( $mach:/dir0/dir1/file ), isnt Ruby a little like this ??

David has promised to create pty functionality so I can do this w/ a ksh
wrapper over ssh
