Ruby has a set of general delimited thingies (strings, regexps,
etc). The %{...} form is a double quoted string. The delimiters can be 
either matching brackets, braces, parentheses, and '<' '>', or they can 
be any arbitrary character:

   %{string}
   %{ string { note { the { nesting } } } }
   %/string/
