I have Ruby and cygwin running on my Win2000 box. Works great! Did you
type ./configure, make, and make install from a cygwin window? It looks
like you tried to compile using Microsoft's make utility.

 << File: nmake.txt >> Hi there,

Greetings from France to the worlwide Ruby community !

I'm having trouble building Ruby on my Win2000 box. I tried both cygwin and
win32 builds, both fail during link (bunch of unresolved symbols, see
attached text file). It looks like a missing lib or something...

By the way, if anyone needs some help to translate Ruby doc in French, I'll
be more than happy to help.

Cheers /jerome

PS : Any French RUG in the plans ?
