Hi,
this is what i have

uname -msrv ---> IRIX64 6.5 10120104 IP19
ruby-1.6.2.tar.gz is what I am using to build.
The compilation for all the files goes through
without any errors (or warnings) but at the linking stage
it crashes when it tries to build
rbconfig.rb
it core dumps and gives an error 
***rbconfig.rb*** Terminated (bu137).
i used gmake/ as well as make . both behave 
almost identically.

i am new to this. Any help will be appreciated.
