I am an experienced Perl user who has discovered Ruby through the DDJ article that I'm sure has increased your exposure radically. I just started looking at this news group today, and I must say, it's very exciting to see the language designer replying to posts. It's like the old days (before my time) in comp.lang.perl.misc, when Larry Wall was still around. I look forward to learning Ruby in the coming weeks. Yes, I've already ordered the book. :) -- Jonathan Feinberg jdf@pobox.com Sunny Brooklyn, NY http://pobox.com/~jdf
