From: Jonathan Feinberg Date: 2001-02-23T01:10:03+09:00 Subject: [ruby-talk:11322] ruby-mode.el quirk It seems that an attempt to use the division operator / in a ruby program makes the ruby-mode parser think that I'm beginning a regex, such that in the code fragment re += '(.)' * (length / 2) re += '.' if length % 2 > 0 (length/2).downto(1) {|i| re += "\\#{i}" } everything from the / following "length" in the first line through the / following "length" in the third line is the regex color. I'm using GNU emacs 20.7.1 on Win2K. Any suggestions? I am not an emacs-lisp hacker, myself, beyond the occasional macro and such. -- Jonathan Feinberg jdf@pobox.com Sunny Brooklyn, NY http://pobox.com/~jdf
