I'm very sorry. 
Well, all watchers on this ML will know that 
I can write only English-like broken text.
So, tcltk-ext library doesn't have English documents.

To install tcltk-ext, you must copy some files on Ruby's library-path.
Those are tcltkextlib.rb, tcltkext.rb, and tkext.rb.
Files including 'test' in those name are sample scripts 
of those library files. 
mk_tkextlib.rb is a generater of class/module definitions 
for Tcl/Tk extensions. 

  Usage: mk_tkextlib.rb [-v] [-b base_info [-g]] [-p pkg_name]

If your Tcl/Tk can do dynamic-loading, 
probably you don't need -b option.
Tix.rb and Tix.inf were generated by 'mk_tkextlib.rb -p Tix'.
When run the command, mk_tkextlib.rb reads Tix.def 
that is defined Tix library information, 
and loads Tix library on Ruby/Tk based on the definition.
And mk_tkextlib.rb generates Tix.rb and Tix.inf 
by checking difference of Tcl commands 
between before and after loading the library, 
and by testing such new Tcl commands.
If you want to use generated class/module definition, Tix.rb, 
you must put Tix.rb and Tix.inf on same directory on Ruby library-path. 

By the way, to run mk_tkextlib.rb, you must give two information 
on the library-definition file (e.g Tix.def).
One is $pre_load_lib arry, and the other is $ext_lib_info array.
Each element of those array is 
[ package-name, library-file, array-of-library-path ].
If 'library-file' is NOT on auto-path of Tcl/Tk or 
directory on 'array-of-library-path', you must give 
the full-pathname as 'library-file'. 

Please compare Tix.def and Tix.inf.
Tix.inf depends on Tix.def. 
Therefore, if you want to use Tix.rb and Tix.inf 
without running mk_tcltkextlib.rb, you must edit Tix.inf.
In case that you want to use BLT extension, please edit Blt.inf.
For other Tcl/Tk extensions, you must write .def file 
and run mk_tkextlib.rb.
