Galeon couldn't handle the site, either. Opera can. Links and Lynx
also manage. It's ironical to get this on top of the page:

know. The navigation (tree-view) panel on the left requires that you
have Java enabled on your browser. This site has been verified to work
with Netscape 4.7 or later and with any version of IE 4 or higher. If
you are using Netscape 6.0 you need to have the Java plug-in enabled.
