From: "Morris, Chris" Date: 2001-10-25T22:22:15+09:00 Subject: [ruby-talk:23289] RegExp question I need to scan text and treat some punctuation (brackets, slashes) as if they were word characters, but not others (periods, commas). I essentially would like to re-define the set that \w uses then I could simply use: /\w+/ I'm too much of a regexp novice to know how to make this work. Any help would be appreciated. Thx. Chris
