There's no doubt in my mind that, for example, whatever you do for the "day job" impacts your "night life". If I'm unhappy or cranky at work (because of a shitty manager, or say (this is just hypothetical, or course ;) new ISO 9001 rules) I complain loudly at home and to my friends. Now if everything is going great, I'm happy. There's definitely a correlation. Now of course, this puts quite the pressure on Matz to evolve Ruby so it doesn't make many of us cranky, thus spoiling the community. (joking, joking...) -mike
