A file browser is built from a set of small widgets, everybody can write one if those small blocks are available. The main question for me, at this moment, is how small the widgets/building blocks need to be. I am not building on a toolkit, but on X. Building on a WinApi or ncurses should be possible. Just one problem: I don't have Win, Mac or other GUI-environment around. Bit difficult this way for me to find a common subset --or a GOOD common subset-- to build upon. +--- Kero ------------------------------ kero@chello.nl ---+ | Don't split your mentality without thinking twice | | Proud like a God -- Guano Apes | +--- M38c ------- http://members.chello.nl/~k.vangelder ---+
