I've installed MinGW (and placed it in \usr\local\mingw) I downloaded the source for SWin (inro \dev\swin) I have the latest MinGW version of Ruby installed (\usr\local\bin) I run: c:\def\swin> ruby extconf.rb checking for main() in -lole32... no checking for main() in -lwinspool... no checking for main() in -lcomctl32... no checking for main() in -lcomdlg32... no checking for main() in -lgdi32... no checking for main() in -luser32... no checking for main() in -lkernel32... no creating Makefile and I get the following in the mkmf.log file (repeated several times): gcc -bmingw -o conftest -Ic:/infoether/ruby/lib/ruby/1.6/i386-mingw32 -DNT -D__MSVCRT__ -Os -I/usr/local/mingw/include -I/usr/local/mingw/include -L/usr/local/mingw/lib conftest.c -lole32 -lwsock32 -lmsvcrt gcc: installation problem, cannot exec `cpp0': No such file or directory This error usually means that the path to gcc, etc is not set, but it is. It builds a Makefile, but when I try and make, I get the same error (gcc: installation problem...). Can anyone help? -Rich
