I can easily convert from Hi8 to VHS. However, that does
reduce the quality. It would be best to take the s-video
out and convert to digital. Once it is in digital, I
know that you can put video on a cdrom (it's like dvd,
but on a cdrom. I have not done this myself, but my friend
has and it looked pretty good. Sorry for not knowing the
technical details and knowing the name for this.)
