Subject: [ruby-talk:23522] Two Ruby-Tk questions

Hi,

I'm playing with Ruby-Tk and ran
into the following 2 questions.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Question1: How to resize a TkCanvas so that the items inside 
know of the change?

I create a TkCanvas and draw an oval on it.
I use the mouse to "drag" the oval around.
Now I resize (with the mouse) the TkCanvas to let's
say about 30% bigger, but the oval I move around with
the mouse still seems to have the old "bounding box" (?)
of the old TkCanvas. I mean I can still move the oval
only around in the old bounding box.
What is the magic command to fix that?

Question2: I need to enter data in an Excel-like input.
As I use Linux I can't do the shortcut of using Excel directly via win32.
Let's say 2 lines of data-fields, where I do not know
the exact number beforehand, let's say 5000.
In Apollo I would use an array of stringgrid or so.
Is there an easy way to do that in RubyTk? 
 
I guess these questions are rather basic, so if wanted
I will summaries the answers on rubygarden.
