No, all the code is written by hand. For this particular package,
I don't think it's a problem since the total binding is about
1,000 LOC; but for larger projects (like ruby-gtk or ruby-gnome),
auto-generating some or all of the code is definately something
to consider.

Would you mind updating the Ruby-GTK and Ruby-GNOME links to
point to ruby-gnome.sourceforge.net (the old page @ ruby-lang.org
will be a redirect to the new site soon); also, if you wouldn't
mind adding a link to Ruby-GConf on that page, that would be great.

I'm in the process of adding Ruby-GNOME and associated libs
to the various listing of GNOME and GTK software. If you
know of a site where it's not listed yet, let me know.
