Hi,

I haven't heard any complaints or reports about this, but I found a bug in 
REXML's text processing, whereby special entities would be quoted going 
out, but would not be unquoted coming back in.  It needs to be one way or 
the other; I'm following Electric XML's lead: &, <, and > are automatically 
turned into entities on write.  1.1a1 now reverses this process on document 
parsing, so that Document.write and Document.now are now reflexive (with 
the exception of whitespace).
