Subject: [ruby-talk:22894] installing libraries

I tried to install xmp from the application archive.
I put xmp.rb in my ruby/lib/ directory, but running

  ruby -r xmp

gives

  0: No such file to load -- xmp (LoadError)

I don't get that for any other file in ruby/lib/,
what am I doing wrong?

On a related note, is there a way to automate downloading libraries from
the RAA, when they may depend on other libraries which should be downloaded
as well? Sort of like debian's get-apt? Or must I do it manually one
library at a time?
