Thanks, but I'm trying to achive the same task my NQXML program carries 
out (merging 2 subtrees into one main tree) with REXML. I'm not 
interested in benchmarks, but in seeing how REXML works for my tasks, 
ease of use-, elegance-, and well-formedness- wise, not speed wise. Or 
did I miss your point?
