I have no experience here. I tend to use XML-RPC and SOAP to build
distributed apps. But they aren't as seamless and invisible as RMI and,
I would guess, DRB.

I don't see the syntactic resemblance between Java and Ruby. I'm not
disputing it, I just don't see it. Maybe you could give a couple of
examples to further my edumacation.

Why wouldn't the JNI class you write for Java work with Jython
automatically (or vice versa)?
