Should we establish some conventios for general guidelines how to write
here. I guess we can follow some common usenet policies (and I'm writing
this to the mailing list :). I'm sure someone posts couple of good URLs if
they're not already in the comp.lang.ruby FAQ. 

We've been a sufficiently small community but we're already growing very
fast (like about 20 new posters during the last week, god knows how many
lurking or without any connection to the community). Earlier you could refer
with first name but we're starting to see collisions. 

In other mailing list the guy called Andy Hunt got very confusing because of
his two moderately separate style of writing. Before the other Andy noted
he's not the other one. Dunno whether the other got ever over the shock :).

Nevertheless we should promote (even tedious) referring to writers of
earlier messages, as otherwise it will become very hard to follow
discussions - especially at deja. 

I've got couple of personal notes, suggesting kindly to replace my brains if
I don't bother to refer properly to whose mail I'm really responding to.
Thanks for those people, for raising my awareness of the problem.

PS. To put the picture to right proportions, I could mention those 20 new
people constituted almost one third of the whole poster base. Congrats to
you, for finding your way here. And welcome!

PPS. I guess I've a little bit better protection for name collisions than
Clemens has. To my best knowledge there's only one other guy with the same
name in our capital city. But OTOH, I've heard, from the people calling to
him, he's very smart, good looking and nice photographer who tends to use
his wake hours with the most beautiful models. I wonder if they're mixing up
us...
