Harry Ohlsen writes: # Thanks to Marc Dashevsky, I now have a simple example of how to create # a pop-up dialog with a data entry field. # # However, his example was in Perl and it uses a class called # Tk::DialogBox, which is separate to Dialog (which only seems to # support the specification of a number of buttons, plus some message # text). # # As far as I can tell, Ruby/Tk doesn't provide a hook to use this # (presumably Tk) class. Sorry that I don't have time to look this up or check it out, but you or someone else might want to make sure this isn't a Ruby naming variance problem. For instance, I ran into a problem of TkRadioButton versus TkRadiobutton. See (http://www.ruby-lang.org/cgi-bin/ruby-bugs/1.6?id=67;user=guest). You might also look through the Tk widget demos (see RAA). HTH. Conrad Schneiker (This note is unofficial and subject to improvement without notice.)
