Subject: [ruby-talk:7971] Hash access method

Hi, 

I wonder if the ruby 1.8 could allow "." access
to Hash object. such as

h = {'a' => 1}
h.a   # 1
h.a = 2  
h.a   # 2

I know ostruct.rb in the lib dir emulate this.
But it would be a lot of nicer to have it built in.
