This is what I got back from ActiveState regarding adding Ruby support to 
Komodo.  I don't really get it, as they say on the komodo page to email 
them if you've got a language that you would like support for, etc.

Hi Michael,
We are presently working to support Python, Perl, and JavaScript. When 
these languages have solidified in Komodo, we will consider adding support 
for other languages, such as Ruby.

We agree that Ruby is an important scripting language -- particularly in 
Japan.
