I've been working a LOT with my own derivative of LRP (Linux Router Project) and thought, hey, an embedded Ruby would be nice. I thought of eRuby - embedded Ruby - but it's not really "embedded" Ruby, as it's not for embedded systems at all. Is there a "tinyRuby" or "embedded-Ruby" that is no bigger than about 100K tops? The Ruby I found (4.5) was 486K.... I imagine that Ruby 5 and Ruby 6 (congratulations Matz!) are bigger than that... A 50K ruby would be beautiful! Then I can package it and use it in my LRP derivative (Oxygen....) David Douthitt CUNA & Affiliates UNIX Systems Administrator ddouthitt@cuna.com (608) 231-4922
