How is that?--i.e. which GUI system did you have in mind for Ruby to use 
on BeOS?

In addition to Linux, GTK+ 2.0 is supposedly intended to support BeOS 
(along with Win32 and MacOS), but I wasn't aware of anything else yet that 
had even a tenuous connection with Ruby.
