Now that's an interesting idea. I'll go see how doable that is. My other concern is obviously the book. Right now, we're not allowed to do anything that changes pagination (with a very few exceptions), so I have to make sure that whatever changes I make have absolutely no impact on the existing Postscript. I also have to ensure that I don't inadvertently change any of the code within an example. Adding a flag as you suggest sounds as if it should be fairly safe, though. (That probably ranks along with "Don't be ridiculous, they can't possibly hit us from over ther... " as a famous last word..) Dave
