 Well, the only difference between rb_load_file() and rb_eval_string() is
that the parser in the first case read from a filehandle and in the second
case from a string (your string is first duplicated).

 ruby use $defout to handle #puts, you can perhaps redefine it.

 You must trap the exceptions, otherwise ruby can crash your
 application. For example it's best to use rb_eval_string_protect() rather
 than rb_eval_string().

 To set the variable $0, and it's also used when ruby display an error
