The first annual Ruby Conference is now just more than a month away.
After some last minute drama, we're pleased to announce that
registration is now open. We're still working out a schedule, but
there's already a great line-up of speakers for your enjoyment (a
provisional list is at http://www.rubyconf.org/speakers.php). Matz
will be there, along with many of the other folks you've come to know
on the Ruby lists. And all against the backdrop of sunny Tampa,
Florida.  To make it even easier to come, the price has dropped!

However, *time is short*. We need registrations and payments by
September 11th in order to guarantee the facilities. You'll also need
to book your own hotel rooms by the 11th to get the special conference
rate.
