Subject: [ruby-talk:20943] Ruby Conference: info on paying from outside USA

Hello --

Apparently some people outside the USA have had trouble paying for
conference registration through Paypal, because Paypal makes them go
through a verification process that includes waiting for their next
credit card statement and reading off some secret numbers that Paypal
has put on it....

If Paypal is making you do that, here are a few suggestions or
alternatives:

1. The thing Paypal puts on your credit card might turn up in the
online version of your credit card account, if you have online access
to it.

2. Pay by international money order. Email me for details of where
to send it.

3. Ask an American friend to lend you the money on their credit card
:-)

As for the Americans out there: please register and pay as soon as you
can. We want to comfortably make our sign-up quota by Monday.
Sign-up is at <http://www.rubyconf.com/regform.php>.

Thanks --

David
