Subject: [ruby-talk:21644] Troubles with mysql-ruby

Hello,

I've just tried out the mysql-ruby-2.3.2a package for mysql access under
ruby.
After compilation I tried to do the test, which is described in the README
file, but I got following error:

This is the test to be executed:
        # ruby -I. ./test.rb localhost user password
This is the output I got:
    ./test.rb:11:in `require': ./mysql.so: undefined symbol: uncompress -
../mysql.so
     (LoadError)
            from ./test.rb:11

Can anyone help me to fix this problem?
