Sorry. Don't be sorry! Ruby is wonderful tool. that utf-8 is integrated in a non-clumsy way helps a lot. I like Pyhon a lot, but I'm not so sure I like the Unicode support implementation, neither the way regexes are not so well integrated in the language. Interesting question is at what level to build in unicode support. Have to think about that. amike via H
