From: Chris Moore Date: 2001-09-02T03:51:28+09:00 Subject: [ruby-talk:20681] install problems.. When trying out tk exmple I got this: tkexample.rb:1:in `require': No such file to load -- tk (LoadError) from tkexample.rb:1 so I looked in /usr/lib/ruby and found that there was indeed no tk.rb or tk.so in any of the subdirectories... Since I had 1.6.4 (?) anyways I deciced to get new source and compile (my old source directory didn't have ext/tk either...) and upon reinstallation it gave me the same message. The ext directory and subdirectories compiled their .so files and the .rb files are there just they didn't get copied to /usr/lib/ruby with make install. Do I just need to copy the whole ruby/ext directory to /usr/lib/ruby/ ? -- ------------------ Chris Moore As a dog returns to it's vomit so a fool totheir folly -God
