I've modified the extconf.rb file, so it can find my mysql-installation, and it compiles and installs ok. But when i try to run the test-script I get the following: # ruby -I. ./test.rb localhost root ./test.rb:11:in `require': libmysqlclient.so.10: cannot load shared object file: No such file or directory - ./mysql.so (LoadError) from ./test.rb:11 The libmysqlclient.so.10 is situated in /pack/mysql/lib/mysql (and mysql is working ok) and mysql.so is in /usr/local/lib/ruby/1.6/i686-linux/mysql.so. What am I missing here? -- Jens Rohde, System Administrator ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Eastfork Object Space (EOS), Margrethepladsen 3, 8000 Aarhus C, Denmark Tel: +45 8732 8787 / Fax: +45 8732 8788
