Is this something worth adding to Ruby? Emphatically yes. I've played games with hooking into method_added and using caller() to find the same info, but I'd never looked to see how hard it would be to add the method properly. And I too would love to see something like a Smalltalk browser for Ruby (although the file and evaluation-order based nature of Ruby might make Lisp environments a somewhat better model). Avi
