What is a good word for 曖昧 (aimai), the last kanji in the second line below?

obscure, vague, ambiguous?  Or is there a special term for this?


Ruby Book 6.1 mtalk.rb (class version)

1.プロセス間通信が生で剥き出しになっている（両者)

2.クライアント情報とクライアントとやり取りしているソケットの関係が曖昧（サーバー)
