Hmm. I thought I had tried that already yesterday on my other NT machine
without success.

But to my pleasant surprise it worked on this machine just now.

Well, since this is the only NT machine that I need/want to run Ruby on, I'm
happy. (But I'll still try this again on the other NT machine anyway. Maybe
I missed something somehow.)
