On July 17, I asked about the possibility of a new bit
of syntax sugar in Ruby -- a "fake" operator to be used
in Boolean expressions.

Matz's reply was: Possible. Remind me when 1.7 dev cycle
starts.

Matz -- consider yourself reminded.  :)

By the way: Do I recall correctly that it is appropriate
to use Jitterbug for this? I have never used Jitterbug.

In any case, it is appropriate to ask for discussion, is
it not?
