[ruby-talk:4826] Os there a cannonical Windows 1.6 distribution?

From: Dave Thomas <Dave@...>

I was wondering if there is consensus out there on a Windows
distribution for Ruby 1.6? We'd like to have a definitive link from
our web site to something that users can just download and install, as
we're anticipating a number of new Ruby users coming along shortly.

The ideal would have:

  - an installer/uninstaller
  - everything required in one download (so if cygwin was needed it
    was in the package)
  - working Tk
  - WIN32API/OLE

Is there such a beast? If not, how quickly could we as a community put
one together? What could I do to help?

Regards

Dave
