Subject: [ruby-talk:5157] Compile Problem with 1.6.1

When I try to compile Ruby 1.6.1, I get the following error:

gcc -O3 -mathlon -march=athlon -mcpu=athlon -I. -I.

-mcpu=athlon -rdynamic main.o dmyext.o libruby.a -ldl
-lcrypt -lm   -o miniruby

make: *** [rbconfig.rb] Aborted (core dumped)
[root@localhost ruby-1.6.1]#

You can see the flags I'm using, and those are achieved with
the help of AthlonGCC ( http://athlonlinux.org -- Latest
stable release). This is a Mandrake 7.1 system.

Any suggestions on fixing this?
