Subject: [ruby-talk:4974] Ruby 1.6 on Windows


I downloaded ruby-1.6.0-20000912-i386-cygwin.tar.gz  from
the link on http://www.os.rim.or.jp/~eban/. When I try to run Ruby, I
get

   The RUBY.CYGWIN.DLL file cannot start.
   Check the file to determine the problem

This is on a '95 box.

I've tried this with both my old b20 cygwin and the later b26 from the 
same site.

I'm sure I'm just being stupid here, but...
