[ruby-talk:4966] Any Ruby download statistics available?

Hi,

Is anyone keeping track of Ruby download statistics?

If not, could arrangements be made to start doing this? (Preferably broken
down by platform or tar file, and by week or month, and by requesting
address country qualifiers, if any--i.e. .jp, .de, .uk and so on.)

Apart from the fact that other inquiring minds want to know, I think this
would provide useful feedback about the impact of various efforts to
popularize Ruby and the relative usage of Ruby on Windows versus the rest of
the world.

Conrad
