And while we're on the subject of apologies, let me express my deep sorrow
for expressing Ruby's elegant and simple syntax as:
Ruby = Reifies unsurpassable baby yacc.
(Blame Armin S. A. Roehrl's note for inspiring that one.)
Anyway, back to work.
First a question that I'm reluctant to ask after all you have done so far,
but in the name of even more user friendliness, here goes: Is there some
reasonably easy way to generate the single big html file with the same table
of contents that the online html file has?
Anyway, the current FAQ looks GREAT overall (although I'm still going
through it).
Thanks for the excellent job.
RRRRRR!!!,
Conrad

Your Tk version may be old, try a newer version.
<<I struggled with this one. In my case, my version was *too new* (Matz
fixed problem) and was installed in non-standard location (to facilitate NFS
mounting of various tools, including Ruby). If the make/build stuff can't
find your various X and Tcl and Tk include and lib files in
"expected/standard locations", it will not build the needed stuff, and it
does not explicitly tell you, although you can spot the missing compile
message in the output from make if you know what to look for. Also if you
