Hi,

  In mail "[ruby-talk:01592] Race condition in Singleton"

If instance() takes arguments, only first arguments are used and
rest are simply discarded. It is not user's aim, isn't it?

In example:

  ins = Array.instance( 1, 2, 3 )
  ins2 = Array.instance( 2, 3, 4 )  # ins2 is [1,2,3]
