[ruby-talk:01263] Draft of the updated Ruby FAQ

From: Dave Thomas <Dave@...>
Date: 2000-02-08 06:16:24 UTC
List: ruby-talk #1263
Well, folks, we've been through the existing English-language Ruby FAQ
and done some rewording. We've also converted it to SGML (using the
Linuxdoc dtd), and made 95% of the code samples executable (so the
output you see was produced on the fly by a real Ruby interpreter). We
added a couple of sections (nothing dramatic) and deleted a few as
well.

Anyway, we'd really appreciate it if anyone with the time could look
through the new draft and post comments here:

  - things to add
  - things to remove
  - things that aren't clear
  - things that aren't right

It's available online at http://www.pragprog.com:8080/rubyfaq. I've
put both HTML and downloadable Postscript versions up (me, I like
printing it off and reading in bed).

Once we've been through some review cycles, we'll submit this back
into the archive.

Thanks in advance

Dave and Andy
