ええと、なるせさんの論旨がいまいちまだ把握できてない気がするのですが・・・・

Macとかでも刺さらないです。

POLLVALが返ると思いますが、poll つかうのはLinuxのときだけなんで
今回の件は無関係ではないでしょうか。
