I always thought the RCR were more language design proposals as
opposed to mundane suggestions for consistency in the existing method
naming style of standard libraries.  Thanks for the pointer, I will
use it from now on for these types of suggestions.  Funnily enough,
in the comment of this bug entry someone else seems to think that this
should go in the patch section, instead of the bug section.  Which is
it RCR or patch?  I suppose I need to play around rubyforge more
before I try and contribute.

Indeed, I can do that and I do when needed.  But, if I kept all these
changes to myself I start to diverge from the core and I think some of
the changes might be desired by the rest of the community.  Hence, I
figured I would offer my observation to the group to see if it sinks
or swims.
