Initial Comment:
I'm trying to build a new version of the One-Click Ruby Installer for Windows for the recently posted 1.8.3 preview1. But I am unable to build the OpenSSL extension. When I get to that point I get this:

The problem seems to be on line #53 of the makefile but, of course, this was generated by mkmf. I have attached the makefile.
