Suggestion for avoiding incivilities

Hi all,

Recently there have been some questions and statements on this list
that have caused people to feel frustrated and reply in a frustrated
manner.  You have my sympathies.

What I've noticed, however, is that Nobu does a good job of just
answering the question or statement and leaving it at that.

Rather than have outpourings of frustration which descend into
off-topic rants, can I suggest the following approach?

  Let Nobu deal with it, and the rest of us stay silent.

If you feel like replying in frustration, first read
http://members.aol.com/intwg/trolls.htm and be reassured that staying
silent is probably the most effective thing you can do.
