Subject: Question about File.fnmatch

Hi all,

Maybe this is a silly question, but why is File.fnmatch defined in dir.c 
  instead of file.c?

I see it sprinkled throughout dir.c, so I'm guessing is was to a way to 
avoid lots of calls to rb_funcall, but I thought I'd ask.
